The Snail Sailor

I’m Sarah — The Snail Sailor. Born the same year the Clipper Race began, and now preparing to sail Leg 7: Americas Coast-to-Coast in the 2027–28 edition. I believe in slow-and-steady courage, thoughtful adventure, and saying yes to the things that stretch us just enough to grow. Follow along as I take on thousands of miles, one steady step at a time.

With Gratitude

Every mile of this journey is built on the love, guidance, and encouragement of the people who got me here. To my Dad, Uncle Tim, Gail, Elizabeth, and the Oregon Women’s Sailing Association — thank you for believing in me, teaching me, and cheering me on long before the Clipper Race was even a dream.
