Big journeys are never taken alone. Sailing Leg 7 of the 2027-28 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a dream that comes with a major financial commitment. The race fee for my portion alone is $15,190 GBP, which is just over $20,000 USD.

This amount covers my training weeks, safety equipment, and participation in Leg 7. It does not include travel or accommodation for training or race start and finish ports, which adds significant additional cost to the full journey.
